This is after running norton anti virus 2005. Adaware, spybot S&D, Iíve also installed spyblaster ans Iím using Mozilla firefox.

My problem is that i have a start page hijacker (donít know if this is the right expression)

http://www.fkpqaflqrwmvrauczg.com/BUiOTneA...TP_0Vw/zMzc.cgi

This page does not exist. (so it is not really a problem as it is annoying)

Also regularly iíve got some icons on my desktop installed from cassino online, printer cartridges and so on.... all from web2search. I delete these files with a program called lopremover. It works for a while but they keep coming back after a few hours or days.

Kind regards,

Lightning

You have Messenger Plus installed. This program is known to install malware. I would advise that you remove this program from your computer. This program installed Lop.com adware.

Please uninstall from Add\Remove Programs:
ISTsvc

Download System Security Suite here:
System Security Suite Download & Tutorial. Unzip it to your desktop.
Install the program. Don't use it yet.

Please print or copy these instructions because you are not able to access the Internet in SafeMode.

Make sure you are set to show hidden files and folders:
A. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options.
B. Click the View tab.
C. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders.
D. Uncheck Hide extensions for known filetypes and Hide protected operating system files.
How to see hidden files in Windows

REBOOT into SafeMode by tapping F8 key repeatedly at bootup: Starting your computer in Safe mode

Run HijackThis!, press Scan, and put a check mark next to all these:

This is a registration reminder that is used by a number of different companies. It is not needed and some experts think that it reports back to the company about your computer, so I suggest fixing it...
O4 - Startup: PowerReg Scheduler.exe

Close all other windows and browsers, and press the Fix Checked button.

Search for these files and delete them if present:
C:\WINDOWS\webdir.dll <-- this file
C:\WINDOWS\ktocxl.exe <-- this file

Delete these folders, if present:
C:\Documents and Settings\LEMMEN~1\Application Data\SETTIN~1\ <-- this folder, LEMMEN~1 = your user, folder to delete starts with SETTIN
C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 3\ <-- this folder
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\PileWindowWebFord\ <-- this folder
C:\Program Files\ISTsvc\ <-- this folder

With all windows and browsers closed.
Clean out temporary and Temporary Internet Files.
A. Open System Security Suite.
B. In the Items to Clear tab thick:
- Internet Explorer (left pane): Cookies & Temporary files
- My Computer (right pane): Temporary files & Recycle Bin
Press the Clear Selected Items button.
Close the program.

REBOOT normally.

Run HijackThis! again and post a new log please.
Everyday is virus day. Do you know where your recovery CDs are ?
Did you create them yet ?

Do you have more then one user account ? You must reboot into safe mode using the same account.

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {ABBD0BAA-EBD1-9420-E399-CAB6DB951B34} - C:\DOCUME~1\LEMMEN~1\APPLIC~1\SETTIN~1\locks size.exe

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Find Delete] C:\DOCUME~1\LEMMEN~1\APPLIC~1\UPLOAD~1\DrvEqBrowse.exe

Close all other windows and browsers, and press the Fix Checked button.

Search for these files and delete them if present:
<-- this file

Delete these folders, if present:
C:\Documents and Settings\LEMMEN~1\Application Data\SETTIN~1\ <-- this folder, LEMMEN~1 = your user, folder to delete starts with SETTIN
C:\Documents and Settings\LEMMEN~1\Application Data\UPLOAD~1\ <-- this folder, LEMMEN~1 = your user, folder to delete starts with UPLOAD

REBOOT normally.

Run HijackThis! again and post a new log please.

Everyday is virus day. Do you know where your recovery CDs are ?
Did you create them yet ?
