Most people probably do a Google search at some stage. These are some tips to help find exactly what you are looking for without being snowed under with info.

Basic: http://www.google.com/help/basics.html

Advanced: http://www.google.com/help/refinesearch.html

Cheers

Try typing in your name in "quotes".....I did mine and found a reference to myself in Soldiers Magazine! Oh, and yes, it was actually me (the paper copy of the magazine had a picture of me working on a generator).
War produces veterans, wounded both physically and mentally. They have sacrificed for us.....and it is now our job to help these veterans, as they have already helped us in ways we will never know, in ways that we cannot fathom, and in ways that we take granted every day.

I did that a couple of times. As it turns out, I'm a respected naval historian (with a Ph.D no less) who's written several books on Horatio Nelson.

I must've been reeeeaaaly drunk cause I don't remember any of that!
