-Go to your control panel
-(if in windows XP change over to the classic mode by clicking the link on the left just under your toolbars)
-Open Java Plug-in (coffee cup icon)
-Click on the Cache tab
-Click clear

While Java is open, click on the update tab and check for updates.
After updating, go to Add/ Remove programs and remove ALL older versions of Java.

Hi lilroq,

Two questions...
Is this the same computer that you posted about here: infected aps?
Have you followed buddy's advice for a fix?

If so, you may also want to follow this post: Start Here. It will check to see if anything is infecting your computer.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling Quicktime. Here is that link.

I would still run through the Start here link. Never hurts to check for malware issues.

A lot of malware, especially on IE use activex.
The videos that you want to watch--Have you ever been able to view them with the programs you now have on your computer?
Are you getting any message telling you you need Flash? Do you get a message asking you if you need a certain program such as Quicktime?

It seems you are reluctant to post a Hijack This log. What is the reason?

Please answer the questions and do not start any more topics on the same subject. It is getting confusing.

Please do not start a new topic, but stick to the threads you have already started. I am merging all three of your topics into one thread. Both Buddy and myself will attempt to help you the best we know how. Did you follow the Start Here post's procedure?
