Hello.
I run windows XP, Free Comodo Firewall, Comodo BOClean, and AVG.

There are two users on this computer I run Firefox my wife uses IE6.

Two days ago I I uninstalled and then re-installed the OS.

A few hours ago I got the "system doctor" pop-up.

Just previous to that by about five to ten minutes I received several Threat Alerts from AVG, and form Comodo about a Global Hook program attempting to access the internet.

regretably I did not record all the details of those, they were all .dll however if that helps.

They first attempted to connect with IE but were blocked, IE was not or at least should not have been running.

I was using Firefox.

I was going to use the forum instructions for removing "System Doctor" but being fully aware of my limited computer knowledge I felt it would be best to post a HJT log first to make certain I wasn't going to cause harm to my system, or miss something.

Below is the Log.

I am not completely aware if I might indvertantly post sensitive information so if a Mod or Admin notices a piece of info I should not have included in the log please remove it.

It seems to be running like brand new, not to shabby for a five year old computer.

I haven't seen any more pop ups and Comodo is only signaling benign stuff that is supposed to working.

I appreciate the help and before the close of the year i will be donating to the site...need to get the money in order.

I would call this perhaps the singularly most helpful website on the internet that I have encountered.

Thank you very much again.

Your version of Sun Java is out of date.
Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system.
Please follow these steps to remove older versions of Sun Java, and then update.
1. Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE)
2. Scroll down to where it says 'Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6u1'.
3. Click the "Download" button to the right.
4. Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
5. The page will refresh.
6. Click on the link to download 'Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language' and save to your desktop.
7. Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
8. Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
9. Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
10. Click the Change/Remove button.
11. Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.
12. Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
13. Then from your desktop double-click on jre-6u1-windows-i586-p.exe to install the newest version.

Your log is clean, hows your pc running now.
