Makes sense to me.
When he tries to type the @, he gets the " instead, and when he tries to type the ", he gets the @.
Correct, Andrew?

I believe what they are saying is that the quotation key and the at key are reverses, when you strike the " key a @ will appear and vise versa.

And yeah...it doesn't make any logical sense to me either.

tg1911, you were a nanosecond faster than I was.

I'd check your Regional Settings in Control Panel (and your Keyboard settings), then I'd start wondering about any software add-ons for the keyboard/macro key stuff that you may have installed.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

I think usasma is on the right track. If you look at this link you will see that some countries have the @ symbol on the 2 key, while other countries have the " symbol. The keyboard settings need to match the type of keyboard you have.

In Central Europe most keyboards have the Y and Z keys swapped compared to a US/UK keyboard. This is annoying for me because my work computer has this layout but my home laptop has a US layout. But my work computer has all these extra keys to play with: őű.

If this is a laptop, make sure that your Fn key is not locked on.
