As sole user of my Windows Xp Professional computer, when I have IE open, I cannot work with Internet Options as will not recognize me as Administrator. However, when I go to Control Panel and then click on IE, I can update my Internet options to delete my searches and my temporary files, etc. As this now happened about 8 months ago, I would like to know how to restore my Admin capability from the IE screen/Internet Options page.
Thanks in advance,
Evike45

I can't help you with the admin problem, but I can suggest another option to use until you figure it out.
The next time you go to Control Panel, place a shortcut to Internet Options on your desktop.
Doing so eliminate a few steps to get to it.
