What make and model is your system? Can you point us to the link about deleting the nousb20.exe notification from the registry?

Well, there's no concrete information that's easily located about the nousb20.exe file - so I'd have to suggest a couple of things:

First, do a complete scan of your system for malware using one of these free, online scanners:
http://safety.live.com
http://housecall.trendmicro.com

After that, I'd suggest a repair install of XP to fix the issues within the Windows OS - http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

Finally, I'd get the most updated motherboard/chipset drivers available for your motherboard and install them. These 3 steps should fix almost any software problem with the system.
