Ever since my wife installed Adobe Photoshop, my user profile is screwed up. When I try to start Internet Explorer, or Explorer, or Recyle Bin, or other applications, A "Windows Installer/Preparing to Install" box pops up temporarily and is quickly replaced by a box saying " Adobe Acrobat 7.08/Please wait while Windows Configures...followed by abox asking me to reboot my computer to complete installation. What is making this computer repeatedlly trying to install this application??

Try reinstall Adobe Photoshop. Before you reinstall back, try to see if the problem still occurs after you have uninstalled it.
