i just recently purchased a dell inspiron 1501 and a linksys wireless router, and was able to connect wirelessly the first few days. however recently i am not able to connect. it always says "not connected" when i look in "my network connections". i have tried power cycling my two computers, the modem, and the router. no luck. any suggestions?

Go to the following link and follow the menu till you get to your modem. You will also need to know your version model.

Have you tried resetting the router to default values and testing it? Have you tried the Dell wireless connection with other routers/hotspots?
