How do you delete a virus from a CD-R? Read only file.?

I have several data cds that are infected with a Trojan Downloader; JS/Downloader-AUD.

link to virus description: http://us.mcafee.com/virusInfo/default.asp...;virus_k=139961

I want to extract my files except the disc only reads on hard drives newer than 2005 although they were written to be read on any hard drive. I could be wrong but I have tried this on two other desktops and a laptop. Why won't they read? They pull up blank but you can't see anything nor burn anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Does your Antivirus allow you to scan specific items and/or drives. Put disk in and open AV select the drive with disk in it.

If yours doesn't Download, install and update this SuperAntiSpyware
then use instructions above. I have this and it will (should)scan the CD

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
