Installed something and the next time I rebooted my computer I got this error message: security warning: your computer may be infected with harmful or unwanted software.
There is also a red icon with ! in the middle of it in the taskbar, next to the clock. What shall i do?

Likely a Smitfraud infection. Use the instructions for Smitfraudfix in the link below. Let us know the results.

I have the some problem and probably the some virus. The virus changed my picture on the desktop, internet explorer hompage and window pops up from the taskbar saying that they found TrojanAdware.W32ExpDwnldr in my computer. I have tried different anti-spywares and nothing. They found it, clean it but comes back when I reboot my computer. I tried Smithfraudfix and still nothing. I do not know what to do anymore. Any ideas will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.
