Hi there. I was pointed to this site through an article I subscribe to. I am hoping to gain some knowledge on what is safe to disable in my start-up menu....WAY TO MANY PROCESSES RUNNING!!! Please be patient, I am relatively new to computers :thumbsup:

Just post any questions you may have, in the appropriate forum, and I'm sure someone will be able to help you out.

Please take the time to browse the New User Orientation forum, to help familiarize yourself with how the board works.
If you have any questions about how to use this site, this forum will probably answer them.

Also, don't forget to check out the Tutorials.
There's a lot of very useful information, in there.

Welcome to BC!
If you look at the tabs at the top of the page here, you will find one called StartupList which lists a multitude of items and will tell you whether each is needed, optional, or should be deleted from your startups. If you have any questions about the items, don't hesitate to post.
