So, everytime I open internet explorer 7, it gives me the "windows has encountered a problem and needs to close" window. I've been using an aol browser for a while, but i want the IE back. So I saved the files on my computer from Microsofts site, but I'm wondering what is the best way to reinstall it without messing up any internet dependant programs. Do I remove the one on the computer first? Will that cause problems with AIM? Thanks for any help.

Hi pollo_5_21230,

Try the steps to resolve this problem in the Micro$oft KB article; Internet Explorer 7 does not start or stops responding.
Chaos reigns within.
Reflect, repent, and reboot.
Order shall return.
