Windows Xp Not Booting

Hi,

Am unable to start my system as windows XP server pack 2 is not being loaded.
First when i started it said some error like 'system disk failure' exactly dont remember the error.
so again i restarted and now i dont get any error only blank screen.
How to resolve this problem please help.

Can you boot into Safe Mode?

I would try testing the hard drive. You should be able to download a hard drive diagnostic tool from the website of the drive manufacturer. Or you could use this free generic tool.

unable boot in safe boot too.....
is windows xp not comaptible to SATA hard drives .......this is the second time am getting the problem.......(had to replace the hard drive previouly)
how do i know if the problem is with SATA hard drives?

XP will work with a SATA drive. Did you run the drive test?

i have run xp on sata from 6 months but in these 6 months 2 times the i had problems with OS.
1st time i had to change my SATA hard drive and now am getting problem i have to check how/why/what problem is causing my xp service pack 2 not to boot..........
