So my GF ran a Disk Defragment on her laptop....

After it was done the internet Explorer icon disappear from bot the task bar desktop and program files.

The only way she can open it up is by clicking the World of Warcraft icon then clicking a random link to pop open a new browser.

Any suggestions as to getting the shortcuts back?

Any help will be appreciated and thanks for your time....

You should find the Internet Explorer Folder in your Programs Folder on your C: drive. Open the IE folder, and there should be a shortcut (the blue e icon) that you can drag onto your desktop or quick launch bar.
