I HAVE AOL AND RECEIVED A GENERAL PROTECTION FAULT ERROR MESSAGE WHAT DOES IT MEAN AND WHAT CAUSED.

HERE IT IS AOL CAUSED A GENERAL PROTECTION FAULT IN MODULE USER.EXE AT 0004:00006195.I JUST GOT THRU PRINTING SOME AND RECEIVED THIS MESSAGE.I AM RUNNING WINDOWS 98 ANYHELP OUT THERE FROM HAVING THIS HAPPEN AGAIN PLEASE.

Can you boot into SAFE MODE?? If you can start by ( from safe mode) going to START > RUN > MSCONFIG. Select the START UP tab and uncheck all items. Reboot and see if that helps. Also run Adware SE & Spybot S&D 1.3 . If you don't have a good Anti Virus try AVG 7.0 Free Edtion . Let me know if this helps.
