Well heres the deal.. I think my computer keeps over heating or has some virus or other problems.. It freezes up on occasion , has extremely varying DL speeds , shuts down on me closes browsers automatically, etc and a few other things.. Now i got my computer at best buy w the 4 yr warranty.. So they said i can bring it in and they will check my computer itself to see if theres any problem ( overheating, or hardware problems etc ) for free.. But if i were to have a virus, or they were to go through my computer and clean everything out it would be 140 dollars..

So my question is what do they do there that i cant here?? Do they use some special disk or removal system when cleaning out the entire computer, or is it just a system restore?? ( whiich i dont know how to do anyways , sorry ) .. Just looking for a lil help because ive had so much good help in here before .. Thank you

Matt

Once you (and the technicians) have ruled out hardware problems, there is nothing they can do with software issues that you cannot do yourself with a little time and help from our BC Members, who can lead you through the process step-by-step and save you 140 dollars.
