Help, Whenever I try to play games like world of warcraft my whole computer shuts down, I have to turn of the switch to my tower and unplug the cable to my computer in order for it to start up again, it shuts off completely My current computer specs right now are:

Memory:1024MB RAM
Graphics Card:ATI X1600 Pro Series
Direct X9.0
550WATT power Supply
and I got a new MSI MotherBoard K8N Neo

Also, Id like to point out I got my graphics card at best buy on black friday, and when I try to run core control it makes a weird sound like an alarm what do I do? help!!!!

You are probably overheating. I'm not sure what to tell you.... next time she shuts down feel the heatsinks on the CPU and GPU? That's all I can recommend because you aren't being very specific. Please also tell the heatsinks you are using and how many fans you have in your case.
