Yes, Happy Father's Day to everyone that is a daddy!

If I could only huge my Father one more time and tell him just how much I miss him! Huge sad sigh.

And a gentle hint to all daddies ... it's not the expensive toys nor so many other things that your little ones will remember when grown. I suspect it's nearly universal that it's the gentle words, endless patience when listening to their woes and 'funnies' and nighttime hugs that linger on.

And thanks for the link, DSTM - I knew Mother's Day was held on different dates in the United Kingdom but hadn't realized Father's Day and other holidays varied so much from country to country.
Never let your computer realize you are in a hurry or just typing the last few words of a vital document.

While outer events might make one happy or sad, happiness itself is entirely internal, and at all times completely within one's power.

Being a bachelor in my mid fifties I realize that I will never know the joys of fatherhood, the closest I've ever come to this is to have an ex girlfriend call to wish me a happy fathers day just to rattle my cage.

Happy fathers day to all those of you out there.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

Glad she's an "ex" girlfriend as boo and hiss to her, dc3. A man doesn't have to be a bio dad in order to have touched a child's life for the better.

Kind thoughts.
