When I try to setup winfax to use the sharing feature it says I need to install tcp/ip. I have two computers networked and tcp/ip is installed and working fine. Winfax must be looking for some kind of registry entry and is somehow deciding that tcp/ip is not installed. What could it be looking for? Is there a registry monitor utility that might tell me which keys are being examined? I am running 2 windows xp sp2 machines with dynamic ip address and ICS. Winfax worked ok until I upgraded to sp2. I have done all the things symantec said to do to deal with sp2.
