Jason from (usually) NB, Canada here. Grad student, married geek.
I'm stubborn enough that I've never resorted to outside help for problems
on my old Dell Dim 4100 or my previous computers - all the way back to that
Tandy 1000 SL. This one's in dire need of a fresh start, but it'll be a while
before I get around to it. Meanwhile, it takes all my verbal (and sometimes
physical) abuse with equanimity. Except that I killed a mouse last Fall, which
my wife found hilarious.
These days I usually google and browse the support forum archives when I can't
figure out what's wrong. I'm a few years into using WinXP, since my wife got her
laptop in... 2003? 2004? whenever. Dell again, Inspiron 9300.
I've run into a situation I can't find an answer to online, so I'll be posting an SOS
After HOURS of searching...
I found my own d*** answer:
stupid Trend Micro puppy dog icon anti-hacker mode...
b**** & moan...
I guess I should be happy about this.
Can't do it.
