I got Microsoft GIF Animator. When I save the thing as a GIF it saves as one picture- the first in the series of pictures.

One Microsoft GIF Animator coming up.

I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!

I believe you must "select all" the images when saving.

Otherwise, it only saves the individual image in the sequence that you have selected.

When viewing with Nero it doesn't appear to animate still---perhaps Nero doesn't support animated GIF's?

Ryan - set your animated avatar in your profile. Then clear your browser's cache. Exit the browser and log back in to the BC.

When I've changed out my avatar in the past, I've always had to do the above to view the newer avatar.

Well, even after uploading, I can view my avatar before doing what you said... except it still doesnt animate. I'll try what you said. NVM I'll keep the Shwarzeneger however you spell his name picture.

Don't completely give up Ryan 3000.
Is a temperamental setting and sometimes it takes several tries to get it to work.

Try uploading your original avatar after the animated one fails to load. The animated one may just decide to show up!

Well, BC doesn't allow very big avatars anyway... what is the largest? 69x83? I think I'll try to make an animated sig. What's the size limit on those?
