Hi, I've been having trouble getting rid of a set of viruses that, when left to their own devices, don't actually interfere that much, but when they interact with my antivirus and spyware programs can get extremely tedious (looping detection messages or error messages mostly).

The virus masquerades under the following names:

I'm fairly sure these are all one virus, as they arrived at the same time and have the same signature when detected by the antivirus, which they are, and leads to my problem- though I have tried avast, PCCillin, Drweb and the usual spybot and adaware cleans, and the first three of those detect the virus, none of them can delete it or even quarantine it. I've tried booting in safe mode to get rid of it, but even then it initialises and renders itself immune to removal. It's a tenacious little bugger and I really want to see the tail end of it, do you have any suggestions?

In the link below is the description of one of the worms on your computer.

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Post a Hijack This log in the Hijack This Forum by following the directions in the link below if the programs above have not removed ALL malware. DO NOT post the log in this forum.
