I need guidance on how to deal with the above BSOD, which is locking me out of my machine. I can't even run Windows in Safe Mode.
The problem seems to have arisen with me using Window Blinds to change a Theme, only to have the program freeze everything leaving me no alternative but to re-boot.
On re-booting I was presented with this Blue Screen, and subsequent re-boots produce same.
I'm using a DELL Dimension 9150.....XP Pro with SP2........AVG Free a/v......Spyware Terminator
I'm a computer "newbie" and this is my first post, so I'm not really sure what other info is relevant.
If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be extremely grateful.

Do you get the Safe Mode selection menu? Have you tried the "Last Known Good Configuration"?

Here's a link to a description of the error: http://aumha.org/a/stop.php#0x0a

FWIW - if you can't get into Windows, the easiest thing to do will be a repair installation of XP (presuming this isn't a virus issue) by following these directions: http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

- John  (my website: http://www.carrona.org/ )**If you need a more detailed explanation, please ask for it. I have the Knack. **  If I haven't replied in 48 hours, please send me a message. My eye problems have recently increased and I'm having difficult reading posts. (23 Nov 2017)FYI - I am completely blind in the right eye and ~30% blind in the left eye.<p>If the eye problems get worse suddenly, I may not be able to respond. If that's the case and help is needed, please PM a staff member for assistance.

When I had that problem, I went to Start>Programs>System Information> then I went to Hardware Resources and clicked on "Conflicts/Sharing" and looked at all the programs that were conflicting and sharing the same IRQ and disabled one or the other....
