I just upgraded my son's laptop with Windows XP Home edition. Previously he was running Windows 2000 Professional. Now when the laptop boots up, he has the option of running XP or Windows 2000 Pro. I want to know how to get rid of Windows 2000 Pro and the dual boot option. Also, how do I get Windows XP to recognize the programs that were install on the old OS?

No. Try not. Do... or do not. There is no try.
