Last couple of weeks have had unusual problem with search engines. When do search in yahoo or google it goes fine until try to select a site to vist from the search and instead of going to desired location it jumps to someplace else not always the same place. I upgraded all the security and download the latest IE7 but only fiixed the problem for half a day. Any help would be greatly appreciated. About ready to restore system just not sure how far back may have to go. Thanks

Check IE addons under tools. Check the Add/Remove program for any programs you don't recognize. Google for info on any program you are not sure of before deleting.

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.
