Hi,
I have some Trojan issues. Spysweeper reports it as trogen agent winlogonhook. Sometime Network Associates AV report and Spyhunter reports vundo.trojan. I also ran semantic vundofix but of no use.

Here is my hijackthis log, could someone please help me on this.

Welcome to the BleepingComputer HijackThis Logs and Analysis forum need_help

Download KillBox,unzip/extract it to your desktop.
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/spyware/KillBox.zip
Start up Killbox and place a check in 'Delete on Reboot'.
In the 'Full path of file to delete' box, copy and paste:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winpsa32.dll

Then press the red button with the white cross.
It will then provide a window for you to confirm the delete.
Next it will ask if you now wish to reboot, select YES.
Allow it to reboot.
If it does'nt reboot automatically, reboot manually.

****************************

Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.
Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
When VundoFix re-opens,click the "Scan for Vundo" button.
Once it's done scanning, click the "Remove Vundo" button.
You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click "YES".
Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
When completed,it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click "OK".
Post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt into your next reply.

Note:
It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case,VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot.

****************************

Please download Combofix and save to your desktop:
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/Beta/ComboFix.exe
Note:
It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop

Close any open browsers.
Double click on combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's finished it will produce a log.
Post the entire contents of C:\ComboFix.txt into your next reply.
Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running.
That may cause the program to freeze/hang.

Also post a new Hijackthis log please.

Hi,
Thanks for your help. When I had posted my Spyspweeper scan result it was incomplete. At the end of scanning it had reported that trojan/swiss.farm virus along with those cookies. I don't know how it has come, as this was not reported earlier. Could you please help me in fixing this too?

Here is the hijack log after fixing the above entries:

Clear your 'System Restore' points by doing the following:
Right-click on 'My Computer' and select 'Properties'.
Select 'System Restore'.
Select 'Turn Off System Restore On All Drives'.
Select 'Apply'.
You will then get the following warning:
"You have chosen to turn off System Restore.
If you continue, all existing restore points will be deleted, and you will not be able to track or undo changes to your computer.
Do you want to turn off System Restore?".
Then select 'Yes',your 'System Restore' directories will be purged.

Turn 'System Restore' back on:
Right click on 'My Computer' and select 'Properties'.
Select 'System Restore'.
Unselect 'Turn Off System Restore On All Drives'.
Select 'Apply',then click 'Ok'.

Download and scan with the free 15 day trial of Counterspy V2

1.Once Counterspy has done scanning, the 'Scan Results' box will appear.
2.Click on 'View Results'.
3.Under (Recommended Action),using the drop down menus at the side of each entry found, set EVERYTHING to 'Remove'.
4.Then click on 'Take Action'.
5.Once everything has been removed, click on 'View Details'.
6.Copy and Paste those details into your next reply.

Restart your pc.
Post the Counterspy report and a new Hijackthis log into your next reply.
Let me know how your pc is running now.
