Cable Modem Battery Test

Hey guys i have a slight issue it seem like everynight at 12:13 eastern my cable modem shuts down for like a minute to test its battery backup and at that time i play games and things on the internet is there a way to stop the auto battery backup ?

actually it is not a battery test it just keeps rebooting at random times during the day like 2 3 or 4 times its so annoying i wish i can get this thing fixed.

First step would be to call the ISP and have them test the line from their end. If all looks OK it may point to a problem inside the house (although my cable company is reluctant to admit to any problems at all!).

I'd also try shutting the modem off completely and waiting about 10 minutes, then starting it up and waiting 3 minutes before trying to connect.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
