Ok, no sound for a while. turns out two wires got pulled out at some point. So I plugged those in but when I started tested them with some music it sounded like Alvin and the Chipmunks were singing it. System sounds and other programs are set higher as well. Any ideas on what this is about would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of soundcard do you have installed? If it's an integrated audio, what computer system do you have (make and model)? Also please post the OS that you're running.
