Hey Guys,

I just had a quick look at: http://labs.live.com/photosynth/

and I have to say it looks pretty neat. A presentation at the TED can be found here: http://www.flixxy.com/photosynth-digital-photography.htm

This is magic! Maybe I'll ask Santa for it next year - huge happy smile! Thanks for sharing this with us, Yourhighness.
Never let your computer realize you are in a hurry or just typing the last few words of a vital document.

While outer events might make one happy or sad, happiness itself is entirely internal, and at all times completely within one's power.

Once I finally got it downloaded, it was a lot of fun. When they get it ready for general use I'll check into it.

Thanks for the link....

This is really impressive, and the way they are going about it is amazing.

Thanks for the link.

Too bad it only works in IE6 and IE7 :flowers: I would like to have seen it.

The positive side.

Web Browser: IE6, IE7, Firefox 1.5 and Firefox 2.0

The negative side, for some anyways. lol

This version of Photosynth you're about to use is a technology preview. That's a few steps short of a beta, so it may or may not run on your computer. We thought it important to get it out there early, though, because our roadmap is still wide open, and we know that the best ideas for how this technology might be used may not come from us.

Important: Photosynth makes heavy use of your graphics hardware. If you have an older graphics system, especially an Intel Integrated Graphics one of the 8XX series, Photosynth will not run. Also, Photosynth requires that your graphics acceleration be set to Full.
Our FAQ article explains how to do this.
