Want to thank everyone for all the help given so far on this wonderful site.

I have now - with the help of someone much more computer minded than myself I might add - managed to install Windows XP onto my computer rather than VIsta which was already installed. Apparently he has left Vista on the recovery disc.

Anyway everything looks good except I cannot now play a DVD in my windows media player.
Any ideas. I think I am correct in saying that I need a decoder. Anyone any ideas where I can get a free one. Did find one on sourceforge and downloaded it but still the DVD will not play.

Thanks
Gaynor
