OK, this is a very weird request I know, but I'm hoping someone will be able to help me. I am Computer Technician and I am always trying to keep my customers with the best tools to keep their machines in check. I am looking for a web site or ftp of sort where I can get viri to infect on an isolated box I have set up for this only this reason. I know this sounds crazy and that other people do these test and give their results. But I want to do this for myself. If anyone knows of a place where I can complete this task it would be greatly Appreciated.

 :flowers:

I would think that all you would have to do would be to turn off the a/v or firewall, and wait 30 seconds...

Or any combination thereof will yield the desired payoff. :flowers:

In all seriousness, the problems that exist online are just that easy to find. :trumpet:

Now if it's exactly a particular virus you are looking for
Murphey's Law dictates that you'll likely not find it when you look for it.

yes i could do all of the above stated.....but what control is there in that? You wont get the same exact viri everytime...and thats kinda whats needed to run tests with differant programs. so who knows..maybe ill just infect the hell out of it and try it that way.

Noone is going to give you malware as that will open themselves to liability. Infect yourself, identify the infections, use a sniffer, and then you can figure out what the actual files are that infect you
