I have two problems.

1.) Two applications that are installed won't run at startup. I select the setting to "run program at startup" within both of the applications, but the setting does not save after a reboot. The applications are:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\G-series Software\LGDCore.exe

C:\Program Files\RivaTuner v2.01\RivaTuner.exe

2.) Sometimes when trying to open applications I get a windows error sound but not error dialog box and the application doesn't open.

Hi Sam Burrell, welcome to BC!

I doubt if this is a malware problem, which is primarily what this forum is for--and you didn't post a log. But do this for me please so I can get an idea of what is going on:

Download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) to your Desktop. Note: You must be logged onto an account with administrator privileges.
  • Close all applications and windows.
  • Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
  • When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt <-this one will be minimized
  • Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt and the extra.txt in your next reply. If you have any problems with the logs, both can be found in C:\Deckard\System Scanner.
