Hmmm, been to Thailand, dream place, cant wait to move there. Number 1 on my list was going to be temples of angkor wat but going there next visit.

Bearing in mind money and time no object.

1 Amazon Rain forrest - 6 month exploration

2 Borneo Rain forrest - 6 month exploration, possible spend time in Orangutan conservation program, something i've looked into but not taken the plunge due to cost.

3 Congo River - Navigating by boat from the sea as far inland as you can go, no time scale, just as long as it takes.

4 Antartic - looks pretty boring but i tried for a job with BAS just to go there, didnt get the job  so havnt been, a week would do it

5 Galapagos Islands - 2 years study program, research program etc.

never been to any on my list, but when I win the lottery and become super-rich I can make a start and say goodbye to the so-called civillised world in search of adventure.

Rachel, Nevada (for a week before and after Red Flag exercises )

Australia for a month or two ( definitely a train ride to Alice Springs and Ayers Rock / Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and then Maybe on to New Zealand ? by Air not train  )

Funny you should bring up this topic DSTM....

Next year I will finally be going on my dream holiday to Europe.

Russia, Paris, Italy possibly Spain and Swizerland (haven't worked out the finer details yet), and Montona Istria my grandfathers village!

So Iam really looking forward to that.

Thanks DSTM,

That's really a pretty little village, there's just something about those type of places - breathtaking.
I'm not very good with links etc. Below is the address for my nonno's village, when I look at these photos its like home calling to me, I hope you find it as beautiful as I..
.
Funny enough I am going with my parents and Aunt, it's going to be a trip of a lifetime for two reasons.
1. Just the fact I'm going to Europe.
2. This will be my first holiday with my parents, ever and this will be my parents first holiday ever. And I do mean their first holiday, they've had overnight trips before, but never a 8 week holiday, so pretty much mum and dad will be doing the iternery, which is not a prob for me because they want to see the same as me anyhow.
So we will being going to see where my dad was born and mum, nonno and possibly nonna. Russia - have connections there as well - my other nonno was Russian. Austria I have family links there as well, so we will see.......
No need to worry about photos I plan to do alot of that and more.

Thanks DSTM,

Egypt is another place I would love to visit, just to see those amazing structures, art, pottery and the whole mystery surrounding is so intruiging, also places like the Mayans(?) etc, also are a fascination.

Yeah Pirates they say that Blackbeard killed the governor of PSV because he told the British he was coming there. The Pirates knew all the currents and sandbars etc.. and used them to trap big ships and lot or just kill eberybody and use the new ship. Having been to several of the islands I learned a bit. A fascinating military style of battle and life system. But they were rea;;y just a gang of thugs and cutthroats. Here's a link should have posted it earlier. I've stayed here. Notice no windows or doors..it's awesome.

The Montona link looks beautiful. The bride is German born, left there at 14. She's not in a hurry to vist tho' I am. She says I won't leave the biergarten. I'd like to see Vienna also.

Edit I need that spellchecker see all my typos
