I have used my Compaq Mouse for about 4 years now and haven't had any problems with it until recently. All of a sudden my mouse just quit on me and I was unable to navigate. I am able to use an older mouse without any problems. I recently purchased a new mouse, but I am afraid to install it ( I don't want to give it a virus or anything like that). Can you help me out with the compaq mouse please?
Thanks

What do you mean? What are you afraid of giving a virus? Installing the new mouse should not be a problem, and will be the best way to make sure the mouse you use now is the problem, and not the computer.

I just was signed off on a clean log from the Hijackthis forum. I just wanted to make sure that everything would be ok with the new mouse that I purchased and didn't waste any money on potentially "breaking" the new mouse. I was told that a mouse could get a virus. I am just trying to make sure everything is in working order.
