Hi Everyone!

I've decided to try and get control of my life, I mean computer :flowers: and this is my first step!!

I'm technically challenged, short on patience but diligent in my efforts!! :trumpet:

I thought getting my own laptop would remove the issues we've been having on our family PC, but once a teenager sees
a new piece of equipment they are suddenly drawn to it and must play and infect it whenever possible (thats my theory at least!!)

I hope to learn something from you all and eventually help someone someday in my position....

I'm from the US but currently living in Taipei, Taiwan as an expat. I'm working on my bachelors of Arts for a degree in Interior Design. I use the computer a lot for my studies and projects and only when it's failing me do I get a wake up call!!

Looking forward to meeting you all!
Kelly

Thanks everyone for the welcome!

I love this site, I feel smarter already! :flowers:

I'm off for a week of holiday but then I'll come back and hopefully roll up my sleeves and get into things. I've been busy scanning two systems but I feel I'm on the verge of making some progress.

So I'll be back and fresh in a week and hopefully to thank you all for such wonderful information (I should do that now anyways!!)
