At the office, when I right click any file, one of the options is SendTo, and under it is Notepad. I'm bored by having to do Open with, and find Notepad in the long list. "Remember always" is not an option, because some extensions aren't .txt and because some .txt files actually open with other apps. That "Send to Notepad" feature gives me the biggest flexibility.

Search your hard drive for the SendTo folder. Put a shortcut for Notepad in there. It'll show up in your Send To menu

YESSSSS! Thank you very much.
On XP at home, it's in Docs&Settings\<user>\SendTo.
I noticed that a shortcut takes longer to open a file, so I copied Notepad since it's tiny and now not only I have it but it's quick.

If I wanted to add this for other users, will it violate XP integrity if I add it to the ALL USERS or to selected users? Which is best and does it make any difference?

Is there another Send To folder located beneath an Internet Explorer folder? I seem to recall that being used in the last article that I've read.

There's no problem to do this with All Users AFAIK - don't think it'll make any difference tho'.
