I picked up a Excel for windows Gateway 2000 Edition version 4.0 from a yard sale (unopened) (seal still in tack). It came with Power Point and all its manual. Is it still a good program and is it still updateable. I haven't loaded it on my computer as of now.

Are you referring to Excel version 4 the Gateway OEM Edition? I believe it will be like Win 98, your can get update to a point but there are not developing new updates.
Below is a link I thought you may find interesting.

I thank you for your info and the web site. I will look into it before I install the program. It only cost me $2.00.
