Auto Shut Down

this is now doing my sweed in
when i use nero or canopus or even pinnacle
to produce either a dvd slideshow or movie
after about 20 mins the computer just shuts down
im guessing it is probably a driver or codec
but how can i find out what is causing this

Are there any error messages when it shuts down? Try looking in the Event Viewer for errors at the time of the shut downs.
