I have been having a serious problem playing Rome Total War and it's expansion. I can run the Strategic Map, but whenever the game switches into the Battle Mode, it will lock up, or if it does load up, nothing is on the screen. I have downloaded the most current patches, and made sure I meet the game specs. My computer is an EMachine running an AMD 64 3200+ CPU. I have an ATI X600 512mb and have 1.5gb onboard ram. I have run Medieval II Total War just fine, which is basically using the same game engine. I have tried contacting the manufacturers and they have basically blown me off. Please help? :flowers: :trumpet:

Yea, Medieval 2: Total War is even more graphically intensive than Rome: Total War is. If you can run Medieval 2, you should be able to run Rome.

I would try to uninstall both Rome: Total War and the expansion pack and then reinstall Rome (and not the expansionn pack) to see if that fixes the problem. If it works, then try and install the expansion pack.
