Spysweeper detected "LOPDOTCOM" on my desktop. The spyware was located in:
When I deleted "LOPDOTCOM", my anti virus prgram (AVAST) would not run in the background. I was able to run AVAST from start menu. I re-installed AVAST and it is currently running and scanning in the background. However, when I run Spysweeper again, LOPDOTCOM shows up. I then ran Microsoft Anti-Spyware Beta and AD-Aware and both programs did not pick up "LOTDOTCOM" Also, I ran REGSEEKER and could not find it there also. Since I am a novice, can anyone explain to me how to get rid of this without affecting my virus program? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Regards, Joe
