There are very few Vista compatible firewalls available - and none that I would recommend. Comodo is supposed to be releasing one - but I haven't seen it yet.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Is the Vista Firewall still only One Way, as in XP?

No, but it takes a bit of work to adjust the 2 way feature.

AFAIK, you can adjust it through group policy settings or through 3rd party tools. Here's some links:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/community...guy/cg0106.mspx
http://searchwindowssecurity.techtarget.co...1217062,00.html
http://www.pctools.com/firewall/

But, IMO, this is the best article on them (once you skim past the recommended other firewalls):
http://members.rushmore.com/~jsky/id34.html

It also mentions the tool that Jacee recommended in this post ( http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/ind...=vista+firewall ) which is the Sphinx Software Vista Firewall Control available for free here: http://sphinx-soft.com/Vista/index.html

I'm going to try this one myself when I get time.
