Being fairly new to computers , just about everthing I have learned and still learning are from a assortment of users forums, It is good to know that there are knowlegable people on these forums that you can get exact and prompt info from. I have a Dell desktop and I just bought a cheap notebook to experiment with, and am I having a good time, just installed Firefox, it does beat IE on about everthing. I have dialup and FF loads pages so much faster. I just wanted to say hello and I like your forum, I dont have any questions right now, but I'll be back with lots of them. Thank You. Ronnie

Welcome to BC! You will find a lot of useful articles in the tutorial section, and by reading the forums (there are some good threads about Firefox, by the way). And never hesitate to post questions here, we all try to help one another find our way through computerland.
Regards,
John

I love forums

me too, ronnie

Belonging to several has enabled me proceed at learning
computers at a pace I'm happy with.

I hope you find what you are seeking here at bleepingcomputer.com

Share what you learn, too.

I personally agree with you about Firefox.
I had Mozilla and learned of the differences
between the two while dealing with problems
related to how I began to use Mozilla six months ago.

So I found this site.

Like a dummy, I had installed a product
by Zillasoft, a popup blocker (unnecessary, really)
and unlike StopZilla, a similarly named software,
(neither of which have anything to do with Mozilla)
the dang zillasoft created problems that compounded to a point
where I needed to reinstall windows as the best solution.

How about that?

Ya' never know, sometimes.
Well, you can learn more here.

Enough said for the moment. :flowers:
patiently patrolling, plenty of persisant pests n' problems ...
