Hey Grinler, I have been noticing this happening with the ads on the bottom of the page: http://home.ripway.com/2004-5/111166/untitled.JPG

Just started noticing it today, it doesn't always do it and it happens with more than just the ad I show here. Don't know if it is a problem on my end or yours, just thought I would mention it.

Let me know when you see this so I can break the link before it eats up too much of my bandwidth.

There's a difference between the IE6 and Firefox browser for sure.

Oh yea..IE doesnt follow valid html so it makes things difficult. Looks fine in firefox..looks like bleep in IE. I fixed the weird spacing issue but im stumped on the color for now

Just another reason to use "any" Gecho based browser rather than (gag) IE.....

Grinler has placed these ads on the site, in order to bring in needed revenue. He wishes to have some applications made that he feels would benefit the site. He niether has the time nor the skill to accomplish this. So the extra revenue will go towards the payment of those that he hires.

It will be worth it in the end I'm sure. I myself can not wait to see the outcome.

I was curious about the ads though. Lets say that I was in the market for some memory. I wait until the crucial banner comes up (or just hit F5 to cycle them), click it and go to the site. I shop around a little, but not buy anything now. If I was to save the link, do you still get credit coming from your site?

If the answer was yes, I was considering saving all the ads in a folder so that when I am ready to do some serious purchasing, I know that you would benefit as well.
We are all curious like a cat. We wonder, we ask, we learn.
Please post back when a suggestion works, so that others may learn.

Yes I hope so too phawgg

It's going to be a very good year for our household we've decided......
Yours and everybody else's too I hope.

Property prices are about to go through the roof again here,
so we are planning to either buy & build or just buy a new house this year.......
:trumpet:

Hey Grinler, thats a great idea disabling the post counter on the games forum too......otherwise every body who posts in there would become super sleuths like yourself in no time. Then all of a sudden we've got a bum forum with a whole bunch of mods with no experience....... :flowers:

Well done.
