I recently had a trojan infection and was helped in removing it. However now what still happens is sometimes when I get the results of a search from search engines like Google or Yahoo and I click on the search result I get redirected to some other site. Sometimes it is to an ebay site sometimes to another search site. Is my computer still infected and if so how can I remedy this situation? Thanks in advance.

Check the addons for IE and check the Add/Remove program for anything you don't recognize. Google the program(s) to make sure you know what they are.

Install Super Antispyware. Run it in safe mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.

Run the online scan for Bit Defender in normal mode. Allow it to quarantine whatever it finds.
