I was just wondering if there is any way to prevent spyware without using programs or locking the registry. Is there settings that you can change in the Internet Options , Security or Advanced tab that can at least cut down spyware and malware being installed onto ones computer. If so I believe you should write a tech article with the Headline being Prevent Spyware/Malware the Natural Way. If you have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

Internet Properties - Security - Custom Level :
Disable all ActiveX
Disable File Download

Unfortunately most of the spyware/adjunk takes advantage of holes in Internet Explorer, so the most natural way would be for Big Bill and Co. to recode the browser.
