For the last week I have had to type in the http:// in the web address where as before it wasn't required. I just found out if I type in the web address without http and wait about a minute it will go to the address. Also when I hit the down arrow on the address bar after first starting IE6 it also takes two minutes or so to bring up my previously visited addresses. Once it does there is no further time delay. Can anyone help?

I'm sure more qualified people than me will give you some inputs on your
problem...but in the meantime, if you haven't already done so, run your
anti-virus program and spyware programs...You should also inform them
of the type of computer you have....harddrive, ram etc.

Browser is IE6. Another sympton is when I click on My Computer it takes about 2 minutes before my drives appear. Also if I do type in www.sitename.com the site will eventually come up about 2 to 3 minutes later. I have run HiJackThis and it shows everything OK.
