Hello all,

I've been looking around and I don't seem to see anyone else with this issue. I got what I hope to be a windows update the other day and when I restarted my computer, I noticed that my norton automatic sercurity did not automatically turn on (and will not turn on despite my best efforts) and that when I use the internet (explorer or firefox) email service provider websites (like gmail, google, or facebook) will not load.

Anyone seen anything like this? More details upon request.

Thanks.

*** Wow, I do not know what is happening here. Also, both my hardware cd drives are not active!
I really can't figure out what is happening with this... I haven't done anything here.

When you say you "hope" you got a Windows update, what do you mean? Did you go to the Windows Update Website and download an update or something else?
