When I type a web address in the address bar it automatically adds and extra ".com" to the address. So if I type in "www.msn.com" it will put in either "www.msn.com.com" or "www.www.msn.com.com" so I can't get to the web page.

Besides that I'm okay at computers, but definitely not an expert a registry editing, or at least not an expert at knowing what's going to happen when I do. Thanks.

A warm welcome to you, trloveland.
That quirk wouldn't be welcome on my computer, either.
It's one I haven't run across before.
If no one else can pin it down to a configuration setting
or something easy like that, maybe you should have
it checked for possible malware. :flowers:

To do that, read a quick how-to post a HJT log
