I hardly ever use it. I pretty much keep it around in case I ever find myself concerned about something. I try to remember to update the definitions about once a month, but twice today (once this morning, and now tonight), I get "error retrieving update". I was able to go to the web site, download the definitions as a file, and manually place them in the program.

Just wondering, before I go starting to un/reinstall the program, if anyone else was having this problem (i.e., is the problem on "their end", and not mine?).

Thank you to all who take the time to reply.

I just tried the update and it worked fine.

I know you think you understand what you thought I said,
but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant!

Well, nuts. I may have to reinstall. I'll probably wait until this weekend; maybe I'll get lucky, and it'll start working....

Thanks for the links, HIPPO1023. They pretty much say exactly what I already said: uninstall and reinstall.
